Aesthetic Registered Nurse

We are seeking an experienced aesthetic registered nurse for our oculofacial surgery practice (Oculofacial Plastic Surgery of Hawaii). The ideal candidate should already be comfortable and competent in independently performing cosmetic injectables and laser procedures. We treat patients with cosmetic and functional concerns of the eyelids, face, and orbit and perform a broad range of facial surgeries and non-surgical procedures (i.e. botulinum toxin injections, fillers, chemical peels, microneedling, and laser skin rejuvenation).

The ideal candidate must be a team player, professional, self-motivated, good at multi-tasking, and be able to perform under pressure. Dr. Bradford Lee, our medical director, was a professor at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute / University of Miami School of Medicine (rated the #1 eye hospital in the USA) and is currently an Associate Professor of Surgery and Chief of Oculoplastic Surgery at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine. He has trained dozens of residents, fellows, and other providers. He will mentor you, teach you about cutting-edge best practices in surgery and non-surgical aesthetics, and help you achieve your fullest potential as a confident and competent aesthetic provider working with a world class team.

Hours: Part-Time, including some Saturdays

Location:

· Queens POB 1, 1380 Lusitana Street, Honolulu, HI 96813 (Office)

Essential Duties:

· Perform neuromodulator and dermal filler injections. Perform laser procedures including CO2,Picosure, Erbium YAG, IPL, 1064 YAG

· Perform chemical peels, microneedling, and RF microneedling.

· Assist with new patient consults and post-op surgical visits

· Perform pre-operative and post-operative patient counseling for oculoplastic procedures.

· Remove sutures during post op appointments.

· Touch bases with post-op patients the day after surgery

· Other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

· At least 3 years of experience in medical aesthetics, dermatology, or plastic surgery.

· Competency in neuromodulator and filler injections

· Current Registered Nurse license

· Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Education

· This position requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
