Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Maintain a clean and organized bar and restaurant area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Use POS system.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Monitor customer behavior and intervene as needed to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
Skills
- Bartending: Familiarity with various types of alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wines, and beers.
- Food safety: Understanding of proper food handling procedures to maintain cleanliness and prevent contamination.
- Time management: Efficiently handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Cash handling: Accurately process cash transactions, calculate change, and maintain cash register balance.
- Bussing: Assist with clearing tables, cleaning dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Food service: Provide excellent customer service by promptly taking orders, delivering food, drinks, and addressing customer inquiries or concerns.
- Guest services: Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
