Tour Guide/Driver

Hawaii, Hawaii, 96801 Hawaii USA
Aplica ya

We take pride in being one of Maui's longest-running downhill bike tour companies, operating for 23 years. Our experience makes us a top choice for self-guided rides down the volcano. Many of our riders have told us that we were the highlight of their Maui trip, appreciating the top-notch service we provide. This dedication has earned us thousands of positive reviews across platforms like Tripadvisor, Yelp, Google, and Facebook. What sets us apart from other downhill bike operators is our three full-service bike shops located in Paia, Kihei, and soon on the Westside, replacing our flagship store lost in Lahaina. Our extensive bike rental fleet includes high-end full-suspension mountain bikes, road bikes, e-bikes, and beach cruisers, providing the widest range of bikes for sale and rentals on the island.

We're looking for a tour guide driver who is knowledgeable about bikes and enjoys interacting with customers. We're searching for someone experienced, knowledgeable, hardworking, detail-oriented, with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and high standards for excellence. Someone who loves to talk to our guests and share your knowledge about Maui.

To be completely honest - we're not in a huge rush and we're holding out for someone who is a GREAT Fit! Our team is very knowledgeable about bikes and we're looking to hire someone who is understands and rides bikes, not just a tour guide. If you're not quite that person but think you could be a great fit with training, we would love to hear from you.

At Maui Sunriders, we're outdoor enthusiasts—cyclists, surfers, skiers, and snowboarders—who live for adventure. Together, our team boasts decades of experience in domestic and international tour guiding, business management, bicycle service and rentals, and various outdoor sports. Many of us hold advanced certifications, and we're committed to surpassing industry standards in safety and service. We're a tight-knit group that works hard and plays hard. Off-duty, you'll find us biking, hiking, or catching waves. We're passionate about bikes and take pride in delivering excellent customer service. Our mission is to ensure our bike shops provide the local community an exceptional experience every time, as we work towards building a vibrant cycling community here on Maui. Our mission with our tours is to provide the utmost safety instruction and prohibit those not fit for the tours from riding in order to assist our local community by being a part of a solution the best we can and not a part of the problem of bike tours on the roads. We want cycling to be widely available for locals and tourists to enjoy the amazing riding this island has to offer, just as we receive a warm welcome when we travel to far away destinations to bike!
