The Coffee Shack is a busy and popular Hawaiian restaurant located in Captain Cook. Known for our panoramic view, friendly staff, and delicious pastries & breakfast dishes. We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Breakfast Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team.
Job Summary:
As a Breakfast Cook at The Coffee Shack, you will play a crucial role in creating a memorable dining experience for our guests by preparing and presenting high-quality breakfast dishes. This position requires a passion for culinary excellence, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Menu Execution: Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast dishes in accordance with the restaurant's menu standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
Recipe Adherence: Follow established recipes and procedures to maintain the authenticity and flavor profile of our menu.
Timely Service: Work efficiently to meet high-volume breakfast service demands, while maintaining the quality and presentation of dishes.
Quality Control: Ensure that all food leaving the kitchen meets the restaurant's standards for taste, presentation, and safety.
Stock Management: Monitor and manage ingredient levels, coordinate with the kitchen team to maintain an organized and efficient workspace, and communicate with management regarding any supply needs.
Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff to coordinate and streamline the breakfast service.
Adherence to Health and Safety Standards: Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
Customer Interaction: Collaborate with servers and front-of-house staff to accommodate special guest requests and ensure a positive dining experience.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Breakfast Cook or similar role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant setting.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
