Maui water sports activity provider is seeking a passionate and experienced Part-Time Surf Instructor to join our ohana in South Maui. Share your love for the ocean and help others catch the surfing bug!
The Opportunity:
Early morning shifts: 7 AM or 9 AM start times
2-hour surf lessons with time for setup/breakdown
Teach first-timers and those looking to brush up their skills
Patience and understanding are paramount, safety is non-negotiable
What You'll Bring:
Current driver's license and willingness to obtain required first aid/CPR certifications
Excellent communication skills to guide students of all ages and abilities
Passion for surfing and creating unforgettable experiences on the waves
Ability to tailor lessons to different skill levels, from newbies to advanced surfers
Ability to work independently and as a team - flexibility

Conduct engaging surf lessons, fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere
Prioritize safety by providing essential instructions and maintaining a secure environment
Assist students with selecting and maintaining their gear, ensuring they have the perfect setup
Share your surfing expertise and help others fall in love with riding the waves
This is the perfect gig for someone with afternoon/evening availability who wants to start their day on the water, meeting people and being outdoors. If you're into the night life party scene, probably not a good fit. We start early, and you need to have your wits about you.
