Aloha! We are looking for an experienced full time PREP COOK to join our team.
Java Kai is a fast paced, high-volume breakfast cafe. Our food, coffee, and service is casual but we give our best and we never go below our standards. We strive to always do better than we did the day before. All our food is made from scratch with fresh ingredients and attention to detail.
We are looking for someone with a passion for food, strong communication skills, and a team oriented attitude.

Responsibilities:
Prep cook is responsible for preparing, portioning and rotating all foods to chefs standards. We taste all food before being served to guests to ensure the best product. Food storage areas outside of the line are the responsibility of prep cook. We work clean and organized, we clean as we work. This position is also responsible for ordering of all food related items, produce, dry goods, etc don’t worry you will be trained and we have systems in place. Our chefs will take time to teach the right people with basic knowledge who are eager to learn.
