Responsibilities:
- Prepare food items including vegetables and fish
- Prepare poke dishes according to recipes and customer preferences
- Ensure the quality and presentation of dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the preparation area
- Monitor inventory levels and restock ingredients as needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a cook/chef/prep or relevant role
- Ability to handle knives and other kitchen equipment safely
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Note: Experience in catering is a plus, but not required.
Job Type: Part-time (Full time employment with health coverage benefits may be considered for qualified candidates)
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
