Position Overview:
We are seeking team members for both the kitchen and on the sales floor! This can be a hybrid position for those interested to help on both sides.
You will be a part of delighting our customers with exotic, organic and 100% local produce. It’s a fulfilling job to those who want to support our community of locals, businesses and tourists.
Cashier Responsibilities:
Provide Excellent Customer Service with a smile
Maintain presentation of the produce
Service customers with a large selection of product
Manage registers such as cash, credit card and EBT transactions
Learn product pricing and the different types of unique fruits and vegetables
Support in opening and closing procedures for the store
Ability to lift produce crates and jars
Work well with teams and customers
Kitchen Responsibilities:
Freeze-Drying
Dehydrating
Juicing
Slicing
Peeling
De-Stemming Vegetables
Jam-Making
Light cooking (ie. Soups, Steaming Vegetables, Pickling Vegetables)
Able to perform repetitive tasks with high levels of accuracy and care
Able to work well with teams
Able to maintain a clean and tidy work space duringand afterpreparations
Skills and Qualifications
