We are seeking professional, energetic, and compassionate food worker to work the front of the house. 30-40 hour work weeks. Schedule must be flexible. Hours are 8am -6pm, 3-4 Days a week, must be available to work Sundays. We are looking for someone with experience in the food industry and who is excited to create healthy food for the island.
Day to Day Responsibilities include:
Opening and closing your station
Food and Merchandise Inventory
Manage google drive and docs
Being able to help the retail staff as needed during busy times
Properly executing recipes from our head chef
Following cleanliness and organization requirements for the department
Daily quality control
Job Requirements:
Consistency is Key with attention to Detail
Self-motivated, team player with a positive attitude
Strong customer service background
Excellent communication skills and enjoys face to face customer connections
Passionate about health and wellness - must be able to describe products and explain benefits as well as proper use and care to our customers
Remains calm under pressure
Ability to multitask
Basic knife skills
Follow recipes exactly and prefers to measure out ingredients instead of going with the flow.
Someone who appreciates being apart of a healthy food movement and loves working for a company that is very connected to the island.
This person must also love working within a team environment and always strives to make their departments better and more efficient.
Knowledgable withfood and store inventory to be sent to purchasing manager on a weekly basis.
Confident on the computer and use of excel.
Ideal candidate has:
3+ years of work experience in customer service and the food/health/service industry
3+ years previous work experience in a fast paced environment
Long term Kauai resident
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED
