Kilauea Bakery & Pizzeria is hiring for a WEEKEND BAKER/MIXER ASAP! Come join an epic, hardworking team in a community landmark since 1991. No previous experience is required but definitely appreciated. We love teaching new skills and this is the perfect opportunity to learn from experienced bakers but we are NOT open to teaching these skills on a short-term basis. Please do not reach out if you are leaving the island soon or are new to the island with no solid housing/transportation. Sorry, but we have spent too much time on people who have come and left.
· Weekend morning shifts available. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 4 AM - 12 PM with the possibility of more shifts as they open up.
· Free meal & unlimited drinks on the job, employee discounts, vacation pay after 1 year of employment
·Kitchen gets tipped out equally with the front-of-house! Equal pay = equal tips! Tips add on average an extra $8 per hour (we have never seen this drop below $6+, $10 on holidays) so starting pay is around $24-$26/hour with raise to come as training period ends. From what we’ve seen, we pay our bakers the best around.
