Job Title: Front of House - Supervisor

Schedule: Full Time

Pay: $25.00 / hour

Reports To: General Manager / FOH Manager

Please note that this role is for a new restaurant scheduled to open at the end of March 2024.

The Crouching Lion, situated next to the stunning landscapes of Kahana Bay, is set to open its doors in May 2024. Committed to providing an exceptional dining experience, we are seeking a talented and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our team and play a key role in delivering outstanding service to our guests.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- As the front-of-house supervisor, you will work closely with the General Manager and the FOH Manager overseeing all aspects of the restaurant’s front-of-house operations. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Leading and motivating a team of servers, hosts, bartenders and other front-of-house staff

- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional service

- Managing reservations and seating arrangements to optimize dining space

- Training and developing staff on service standards and restaurant policies

- Collaborating with the kitchen and back-of-house team to ensure seamless communication and a smooth dining experience

- Monitoring and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the front-of-house area

- Overseeing inventory, quality, and safety

- Handling customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and prompt resolution

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

- 2 to 3 years as a Front of House supervisor or similar position in an upscale dining environment

- Food handler certification, strongly preferred

- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers in English

- Must exhibit an aptitude for leading, coaching, and driving excellence at every level

- Excellent communication and customer service abilities

- Knowledge of point-of-sale systems and restaurant management software

- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

- Days off are subject to change based on business

- Ability to learn and train others on all aspects of the restaurant

- Must be able to calculate and understand restaurant financial documents
