Gather is seeking a dynamic, experienced Director of Operations to lead our team and elevate both guest and team experiences at one of Maui’s most scenic restaurant and event destinations.
This role is ideal for a hospitality leader who thrives in diverse service environments—from seated dinners with sweeping ocean views to weddings, private events, and on-course golf food & beverage service.
What You’ll Do:
Oversee daily operations across restaurant, event, and golf course F&B services, including refreshment cart attendants
Lead, mentor, and support a dedicated team across front and back of house
Ensure efficient service delivery and memorable guest interactions at all touchpoints—dining room, events, and on the course
Collaborate on seasonal menus and special event planning
Maintain high standards for service, food quality, and overall experience
Work closely with ownership and executive leadership on strategy, budgeting, and long-term growth
Who You Are:
A hands-on, adaptable leader with 5+ years in hospitality or restaurant operations
Detail-oriented and calm under pressure, with a proactive approach to guest service
Skilled in team development, scheduling, vendor management, and F&B cost control
Passionate about food, community, and the spirit of aloha
