The Hana Harvest Cafe is hiring a Culinary Supervisor who is aligned with our vision and wants to grow with the company.
The Hana Harvest Culinary Supervisor is a full-time position with hands-on responsibility of food service operations within a food truck, retail café, and prep kitchen. The Culinary Supervisor works in partnership with the Food & Beverage Manager to ensure an efficient, cooperative and seamless operation.
Core Responsibilities:
Execute menu in collaboration with Food & Beverage Manager.
Hands-on food preparation and service in food trucks, as needed to accommodate staffing.
Execute quality production, stocking, labeling, and presentation of menu items.
Maintain inventory levels, monitor product quality, and manage waste reductions strategies.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment with the team.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in food / cafe, supervisor experience or similar role.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and a passion for locally sourced and sustainable ingredients.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
Shared employee housing is available for rent to qualified full-time candidates. Please note this is not a work trade position. Rent is paid separately from wages and tips earned.
