Job Title: Bartender
Schedule: Full Time
Pay: $20.00 plus tips
Reports To: FOH Manager/General Manager
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are looking for an experienced bartender who is passionate about crafting creative cocktails, providing outstanding customer service, and contributing to the overall success of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of various spirits, wines, and beers, as well as excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with the restaurant’s standards and recipes
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, offering recommendations and ensuring their satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization behind the bar, including stocking supplies and cleaning equipment
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols, including responsible alcohol service practices
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth service and uphold the restaurant's reputation for excellence
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience working as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or bar environment
- Extensive knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktail recipes, as well as a passion for exploring new ingredients and flavors
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with guests in a genuine and hospitable manner
- Exceptional multitasking abilities and a calm demeanor under pressure
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and professionalism
- Must be of legal drinking age and hold any required certifications for alcohol service in the state of Hawaii
- High school diploma or equivalent
