Ke Nui Kitchen is currently seeking a reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Baker’s Assistant and Pastry Production Team Member. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a professional kitchen environment and gain hands-on experience in both bread baking and pastry creation.
Responsibilities Include:
Assisting the head baker with the preparation and production of baked goods, including breads, pastries, and specialty desserts
Measuring and mixing ingredients according to standardized recipes
Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
Preparing fillings, glazes, and decorative elements for pastries
Monitoring inventory levels and assisting with ingredient restocking
Following food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a bakery or commercial kitchen is preferred, but not required
Strong interest in baking and pastry arts
Ability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products
Strong communication skills and a cooperative team attitude
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
