B's Kitchen is a locally owned restaurant located in the heart of Princeville. Our team is committed to excellence in every aspect of our operations, and we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to join us in our mission.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of B's Kitchen. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the General Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the restaurant, uphold our standards of service and quality, and contribute to the overall success of the business.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, and guest service.

- Supervise front-of-house and back-of-house staff, providing leadership, guidance, and support as needed.

- Ensure that all team members adhere to company policies and procedures, including food safety and sanitation standards.

- Assist with training and development of new and existing staff, providing feedback and coaching to promote growth and excellence.

- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner, striving to resolve issues to the guest's satisfaction.

- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and receiving of supplies to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing waste.

- Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement strategies to drive revenue, increase profitability, and enhance guest satisfaction.

- Assist with administrative tasks, including (but not limited to) payroll processing, budget management, and reporting, to ensure accurate and efficient operation of the restaurant.

- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, communication, and mutual respect among staff members.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in the restaurant industry, preferably in a high-volume establishment.

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve excellence.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a focus on building positive relationships with guests and staff.

- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, inventory management, and financial analysis.

- Familiarity with POS systems and other restaurant software applications.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
