In 2014, Wicked Maine Lobster started selling delicious lobster rolls at various farmer’s markets throughout the San Diego, CA region. Assistant Manager Job Description:
All responsibilities stated below will be in support of General Manager duties
Ensuring task check lists are completed.
Ensuring temperature logs are completed.
Ensuring daily and weekly cleaning is completed.
Ensuring day to day operations run smoothly.
Making sure employees are in compliance with job duties and attendance policy.
Providing excellent customer service
Troubleshooting and fixing problems on sight
Placing orders
Creating schedules
Ensuring necessary services and cleanings are completed.
Checking and rotating inventory
Monthly inventory count
Training new employees
Assisting in the hiring process, interviewing
Being on call for employee call outs/ no shows
Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Scheduling experience
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Assistant manager, cook, and customer service experience
Basic mathematical skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to listen and communicate effectively
Serve-Safe Food Handler's Card
Able to anticipate needs of others in the kitchen and proactively work to meet them

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
