One Kalakaua Senior Living has an immediate opening for a Part-Time Line Cook in our Food and Beverage department.
The Line Cook is primarily responsible for the food preparation of the hot food served on the line. This position is responsible and accountable for all kitchen functions and activities to ensure menu items are prepared according to recipe specifications.
SCHEDULE: Variable; Must be able to work holidays and weekends. Flexible schedule is available.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Must possess, as a minimum, a certification from an accredited school specializing in Culinary Arts and/or must possess a high school diploma or GED with at least 2-3 years of experience as a cook. Current CPR and First Aid certification required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Communicates effectively, both orally and written, using proper speech and grammar.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Physical demands require being able to lift 50 pounds, push/pull large cases of supplies and stand for long periods of time.
