Description:Greeting and checking in patients Answering telephone calls Scheduling appointments Prepping charts Taking vital signs and rooming patients Entering data in electronic medical record system Ordering imaging studies Obtaining prior authorizations Scheduling outside referrals Calling in prescriptions 12 months medical assistant experience. Knowledge of Classification Procedural Terminology (CPT) or ICD-10 coding.
