Description We are offering an exciting role in the non-profit sector based in Honolulu, Hawaii. The position is for a Sr. Word Processor, which is a short-term contract employment opportunity. Preference will be given to applicants currently residing in Hawaii due to the nature of the job requirements.Responsibilities: Transcribe confidential information from PDF documents into Microsoft Word with high accuracy. Efficiently manage and type up a range of documents which may include Bylaws, Articles of Incorporation, and Conflict of Interest Policy. Ensure the final Word documents are correctly formatted and free of errors. Utilize Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Word proficiently to complete assigned tasks. Maintain communication via email for document delivery and any necessary correspondence. Meet the required typing speed of over 60 WPM for efficient task completion. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to the non-profit industry's regulations while handling sensitive documents. Collaborate with team members remotely to ensure smooth operations and task completion. Organize and manage files, ensuring all documents are stored correctly and are easily accessible.Requirements Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Word is required. Must have strong written communication skills, with an emphasis on correspondence. Typing speed over 60 WPM is essential. Prior experience in a senior word processing role or similar is preferred. Familiarity with the non-profit sector would be advantageous. Must have excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion. Excellent organizational and time management skills are required. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances. Must be a team player, with the ability to also work independently when required. A positive attitude and professional demeanor are essential. Must be committed to continuous learning and professional development.
