Learn more at www.ukg.com/careers #WeAreUKGDescription & QualificationsDescriptionDescriptionUKG seeks a Senior Corporate Counsel who will provide legal, commercial, and operational support to our Sales, Services, Cloud, and Sales Operations teams, with a focus on driving and closing U.S. Public sector deals, including Federal, State and Local transactions. The role will provide negotiation support for customer agreements in assigned U.S. Public verticals, as well as other commercial segments. The Senior Corporate Counsel will drive the Public sector sales engagement processes from initial intake to the final signature of the agreements. Reporting to the Director of Go-To-Market Legal, this is a wonderful opportunity to have a major impact on a strategically important and high-growth area of UKG’s business.Key Responsibilities Supporting the Public Sector sales, including drafting, negotiation, and management of complex distributor and resellers engagements specific to Public, Federal, State, and Local customers, as well as maintaining other commercial terms and conditions Advising on contract management activities from opportunity to fulfillment, including RFP support, assessing procurement options, direct negotiations, and other related contracting matters Working with other attorneys to maintain compliance with company policies, applicable laws and regulations, and other established guidelines and requirements, in support of sales transactions Supporting maintenance of FedRamp certification, addressing customer inquiries regarding UKG’s certification and processes Resolving customer and sales team questions to achieve customer satisfaction in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Flexibility to work on “ad hoc” projects and other initiatives within the legal departmentQualifications Law degree and good standing with the applicable State Bar At least 8 years supporting U.S. Public sector sales Expert skills in negotiation and organization, with great attention to detail Extensive experience in strategic and analytical roles within highly matrixed organizations Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects and establish credibility with internal and external executive stakeholders Ability to work in an independent yet collaborative environment Ability to adapt and be flexible in a high-growth, changing workplace Strong drafting skills, with strong experience in MS Word and other digital toolsPay Transparency for Colorado, New York, Washington and CaliforniaThe pay range for this position in Colorado, New York, Washington and California is $XX to $XX (or $XX), however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location.
