Looking for part time hire to help begin and operate a third-party logistics (3PL) company in Hawaii. The ideal candidate will have or acquire working space to inventory a 400+ sku product line. Space would need to be secure, central alarm monitored, climate controlled and work inhabitable with a small receiving and shipping station. All equipment and inventory will be supplied and owned by head office in California.
General information:
This operation is highly based on an employee/contractor type relationship with a responsible, honest, hard-working (part-time) individual.
Responsibility and cost of insurance must be shared.
Approximately 500 square feet would be required to start.
This 3PL “may” be done in a portion of a home dwelling if insurance company will cover the space to operate this 3PL.
Must be able to perform all administrative and warehousing duties, after set-up assistance is completed.
Cost of space, utilities, general maintenance and supplies will be covered. If you have existing space, we'll pay for competitive rental space OR you find space and we'll cover the rental charge.
Should have transportation to pick up from the dock up to 300-800 lbs. of inventory twice a month.
Should have transportation to drop off daily (Mon-Fri) small packages to US Post Office (or schedule a US Postal pick up) Or possibly deliver orders to customers on the island and we'll pay a competitive fee for the deliveries.
