Job Title: Project Planner
Company: Pioneer Design Group – Hawaiʻi, LLC.
Location: Full time in office, Honolulu, Hawaii (Potential growth to hybrid schedule)
Hours: 8am – 5pm with option to flex schedule.

Our team is committed to excellence and continuous improvement, and we are looking for a passionate and motivated individual to join us as a Project Planner on our land use planning team.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the preparation and submittal of various land use applications and entitlement processes across the various Counties in the State of Hawaiʻi.
Manage the planning process and lead coordination with project clients.
Provide clear written and oral communication within PDG-HI as well as with clients, local jurisdictional personnel and the public.
Attend, present and/or manage presentations and meetings with the public or planning commission.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in community development, community planning, urban planning, or a related field.
Five (5) or more years working in the field of land use planning.
Knowledge of the Hawaiʻi planning processes across the various counties, along with their individual land use and urban planning policies and initiatives.
Strong written and oral communication skills, along with excellent attention to detail.
Proficient with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Experience working with the Autodesk suite of CAD programs is a plus.
