Engineer needed to perform calculations on post frame buildings and various timber frame trusses and open beam roofs included in our building kits.
Work would include review of building designs, generate related calculations, and make suggestions of changes based on project priorities.
Projects would included pre-engineered kits, custom design projects and new product development.
Part time position.
Requirements:
Current Hawaii License.
Familiarity with Hawaii building codes.
Experience with Post framing preferred but not necessary.
Plans are provided for review, drafting not required.
National Frame Building Association Engineer's Building Design manual available.
Compensation depending upon experience and can be based on an hourly rate or fee schedule.
