Starting Hourly Wage: Residential Advisor -$17.20/hour ; Senior Residential Advisor - $18.00/hour

Midnight Shift: 11:00PM - 8:00AM

Prime Shift: 3:00PM - 12:00AM

POSITION SUMMARY - Residential Advisors

Residential Advisors monitor group living conditions, evaluate situations within the dormitories and make decisions and/or recommendations while ensuring safety and proper student behavior program coordination, student discipline and preparation of records and reports, in compliance with government and management directives. Performs duties involving student passes, leaves, evaluations, progress reports, emergencies and terminations for assigned shift. Communicates with families of students as required to resolve problems and assure the well being of students. Assist in coordinating dorm activities including recreation and entertainment on and off center, dorm competitions and after hours tutoring and learning activities.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent required & Two (2) years experience working with youth required

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Computer proficiency

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
