Privately owned Group Child Care, providing child care services to Hawaii’s children as young as 2 months of age.
We are looking for motivated and energetic individuals with a passion for working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Candidate must be reliable, hardworking, compassionate, knowledgeable, nurturing, creative, and have a positive energy.
Job Title: Teacher/Teacher’s Aide/Caregiver
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Status: Full Time and Part Time available
Start Date: As soon as possible
General Function:
● Under the supervision of the Director and/or Lead Teacher.
Qualifications:
● Require understanding of child development:
Experience working with children between the ages of 2 months - 5 years
Engaging children in daily activities that stimulates their development.
Supervising children while keeping them safe at all times.
● Team Player:
Ability to work cooperatively and effectively as part of a team and attend mandatory meetings.
Assisting with maintenance and cleaning of the facility.
● Must be people oriented:
Must be mature, caring, nurturing, responsible, dedicated, and able to have excellent communication skills
Position requires:
● Submit meaningful lesson plans to supervisor;
● Implementing and carrying out daily activities and lesson plans for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
● Assist children in their early childhood development while ensuring a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment
Requirements:
● Must have High School Degree or GED.
● CDA or working towards a CDA is preferred
● Must meet DHS requirements
● First Aide/CPR Certified
● Safe Sleep Certification
● Experience working in child care facility preferred
