We are a DOE public middle school in Kaimuki area looking for caring, team oriented, and committed individuals to serve our students.
1. FULL TIME EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANT (EA)
Provides instructional support services to a student or a small group of students under the direct supervision of a general or special education teacher.
Monday through Friday (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM). Compensation up to $2,874.16; various benefits are also offered.
Substitute EA position also available and the hours are flexible.
Minimum of high school diploma or higher.
2. PART TIME PARAPROFESSIONAL TUTOR (PPT):
Provides instructional support services to a student or a small group of students under the direct supervision of a general or special education teacher.
Monday through Friday (8:00 AM to 2:15 PM) up to 19 hours a week. The hours can be flexible.
Compensation ranges from $18.97 to $21.76/hour pending qualification.
Minimum of high school diploma or higher.
3. FULL OR PART TIME SECURITY ATTENDANT (SSA):
Patrol school campus to detect improper conduct or possible hazard. Prevent or discourage disturbances, loitering or other unacceptable student behavior, and to provide assistance to students as needed; enforces school rules and regulations; observes and reports any unusual occurrences or property damage; and performs other duties as required.
Applicants must be registered as a Guard with the State of Hawaii Board of Private Detectives and Guards; minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
