Description
Connections PCS is seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable Front Office Assistant to join our school community. This 10-month position is essential to the smooth operation of the school, serving as the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer service-driven, and capable of multitasking in a dynamic school environment. Includes school holidays and paid time off as per school policy.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist students, parents, staff, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls and manage school correspondence
- Maintain accurate student attendance records and assist with daily attendance procedures
- Assist with enrollment, student records, and general office filing
- Support faculty and staff with administrative tasks and scheduling needs
- Coordinate with school nurses and manage basic health office procedures as needed
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Perform other duties as assigned by the principal or office manager
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); associate degree or relevant certification preferred
- Previous administrative or customer service experience, preferably in a school or educational setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Schedule
Monday through Friday, approximately 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Position follows the academic calendar (10-month contract).
