Christian Elementary School Principal

Olelo Christian Academy (OCA) is looking for a dedicated principal to lead our school, supervise the faculty and administrate all aspects of the school to ensure healthy growth and learning in a safe and nurturing Christian environment. Located in Lihue, Kauai, OCA is a small Pre-Kindergarten through 6th grade Christian School affiliated with the American Association of Christian Schools. We have a staff of six teachers, teacher aides, and part-time and volunteer staff. The primary qualification we seek is a heart-felt belief that God has called you to school service and leadership. Minimum background qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Education from an accredited college, 12 graduate-level semester hours in Educational Administration or a state, provincial, or national Principal certification, a Christian Philosophy in agreement with the OCA statement of faith, and evidence of active involvement and service in a church. Prior teaching and/or school leadership experience will be considered if candidates are working toward an Educational Administration degree.
