After School Care Program Teacher
Haleakalā Waldorf School seeks two After School Care (ASC) Program Teachers to provide a playful, safe and rhythmic program for our mixed-aged students that require care extended beyond regular school hours. The beautiful campus and mostly outdoor program provide the perfect opportunity to enjoy the amazing Kula environment.
Two positions are available, one for preschool & kindergarten age group, and one for Grades 1-8 age group. Hours are 2:45-5:00, Monday through Thursday, and Friday 12:30-3:00, and both positions will begin August 7th, 2024. Experience working with Early Childhood & elementary-age children is required, as is the ability to be in physical movement such as walking, bending, lifting approximately 25 lbs, and squatting for the majority of the work day. Must be able to be outdoors for an extended period of time.
