Key Responsibilities:
Lead guest on an hour long educational tour
Share the fascinating story of vanilla – from orchid to extract – with visitor of all ages
Answer questions about vanilla cultivation, farming practices, and culinary uses of vanilla
Operate our on-site gift shop — greeting guests, handling sales, and restocking shelves
Represent the farm with professionalism, enthusiasm and aloha
Ideal Candidate:
Excellent communication and story-telling skills, comfortable in front of groups
Passion for Hawai’ian agriculture
Punctual, reliable, and customer-service oriented
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (mostly under shade coverage)
No basic knowledge of vanilla needed
Schedule:
Part-time- Flexible shifts available
Available shifts are as followed: Wednesday 12-3pm, Thursday 12-3pm, and Saturday shifts 9:30am-2:30pm.
Hour long tours (1 tour during the weekdays and 2 on Saturday) with the chance to pick up additional shifts.
