Captain :
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and security of passengers, employees, and vessel at all times
- Provide outstanding customer service to passengers
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and DLNR Harbor Agents
- Assist guests and crew as needed, including vessel cleaning
Qualifications:
- Confident experience on performance maneuvering High Performance Rib(or similar)
- Active license
- Ability to pass mandatory pre-employment & random drug tests
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Excellent navigational skills in various weather conditions
- Maintenance and engineering experience preferred
Additional Skills/Experience:
- Extensive maintenance knowledge including cleaning, rust/corrosion, painting, varnishing, line splicing, engine maintenance, etc.
- Dry Dock experience and USCG annual inspection familiarity
- Active permits/certificates such as First Aid/CPR, Water Safety Certification (will provide course if needed)
