Starting pay for our full-time baristas, barbacks/food runners begins at $14.00 an hour plus tips! Prep/Line cook pay is $25 per hour.
Responsibilities for the Barista Position:
- Take orders from customers, prepare and serve coffee and espresso drinks.
- Uphold excellence of service and efficiency towards customers, answer questions about products.
- Maintain a neat and clean appearance of both person and work area.
- Wash dishes and clean equipment.
- Delight our customers by serving them and providing the Akamai experience.
Food Runner Duties:
- Run food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate tables.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of food orders.
- Assist in the line.
- Perform cashier duties.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management.
- Clear and clean tables as needed.
- Assist with bussing duties, including clearing dishes and resetting tables.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any customer concerns or requests.
- Maintain an upbeat and high-energy spirit.
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a great attitude as part of a dynamic team!
