The General Manager role encompasses a wide array of responsibilities, first and foremost of which is managing the day-to-day operations of the farm. In addition, the GM oversees multiple department managers, the Macadamia production line, building and maintaining relationships with partners and suppliers, assisting partnered farmers with quality control, maintenance and repair of production equipment and machinery, planning and executing new projects or features for the farm, locating and acquiring equipment and parts as needed, inspiring trust and respect from all team members, and much more. Candidates must:
Have experience in managing multiple crews
Have reliable transportation
Be completely honest and trustworthy
Have a positive friendly attitude
Sense of humor is a plus

Possess infinite patience and superhuman endurance/energy/dedication
Responsibilities include:
Managing Macadamia production line
Build solid working relationships with partnered farmers
Assisting in the care of multiple animals (Parrots, pig, tilapia, etc.)
Oversee & coordinate the day-to-day operations the farm, which operates as a tourist destination
Talent acquisition (hiring/firing of staff)
Skills required:
Solution finding, i.e. problem solving (Farming is fixing)
Possess excellent communication skills
Ability to switch focus from task to task in a fast-paced environment
Excellent research skills, including ability to locate owners of randomly lost items
Carpentry / mechanical skills are a big plus
