Job Description:

The Business Development Specialist will report directly to the owner. Activities will include, but not be limited to:

- Participate in professional industry associations

- Maintain existing client base via client relations activities

- Target, prospect, and secure new business

- Implement ENPRO's existing Business Development Plan

- Generate, deliver, and follow up on proposals

- Organize, manage, and participate in trade shows, golf tournament aid stations, etc.

- Attend networking events

- Suggest and implement improvements to marketing materials and marketing presence including website and social media

- Grow revenues and reap the benefits

Work Schedule

Full time. Will include evenings and possibly some weekends. Some travel required.

Requirements

Self motivated with above average work ethic.

Independent problem solver.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Sales, marketing, client relations, and/or business development experience.

Ability to communicate clearly, read and write in English.

Detail oriented with excellent written communication skills.

Computer efficient.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of clients.

Must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug test, and have clean driving record.

Must have dependable transportation and valid driver's license.

Physically able to load, unload, and maneuver trade show and aid station supplies.

Able to work outside of standard hours.

Additional Desirable Qualifications:

Four-year college degree in biological, environmental, physical or related science (or ANY science background).

Construction knowledge. Particularly knowledge of local construction industry.

Experience working with large developers and/or property owners.

Knowledge of environmental issues including asbestos, mold, hazardous materials, etc.

Decent golf game.
