Description:
Our client is seeking experienced seasonal Tax Preparers who want to build their book of business and advance their tax knowledge to join our network of professionals, serving clients with diverse tax needs in the Kahului and Kihei Area.

Full-time
Location:
Kahului and Kihei
Pay:
$24.00 to $30.00 HourlyAdditional Responsibilities:
Conduct face-to-face tax interviews with clients
Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
Generate business growth, increasing client retention, and offering additional products and servicesÂ
Provide IRS audit supportÂ
Mentor and support teammatesÂ
Required Education and Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
Experience completing individual returns
Tax planning and audit support
Ability to effectively communicate in person and in writing
Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment
Successful completion of Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent
Ability to complete an 18-hour continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience with accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or taxes
Sales or marketing experience
Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)
CPA or Enrolled Agent certificationÂ
