Windward Aviation Inc. (WAI), a Hawai’i based helicopter utility company, is seeking a part-time accounts receivable contractor (approximately 4-6 hours per week). Working under the direct supervision of the Administrative Manager, this independent contractor will primarily handle the billing requirements for federally funded flights.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Bill Department of Interior (DOI) Office of Aviation Service contracts
- Invoice submission to DOI is a 4-step process that takes approx 20 minutes per invoice
- Work includes transcription of a paper invoice into an electronic system (AIRs), submission to an invoice processing system (IPP) and updating the WAI accounting system
Qualifications:
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent professional and organizational skills (oral and written) and the ability to excel at details, multi-tasking and meeting deadlines
- Ability to learn new online systems efficiently in order to bill government contracts
- Attention to detail is key to this position
Details of Employment:
- WAI approximates 4-6 hours of work per week. Workload is subject to change based on WAI flight schedule
- Training and work will initially take place on-site at WAI’s office at the Kahului Airport
- Once proficient individual may work remotely but it is at the discretion of WAI
- Hourly rate is commensurate with experience and negotiable
- Pay is issued on a biweekly basis via direct deposit
