NOW HIRING WELDERS AND FABRICATORS IN THE THOMASVILLE, GEORGIA AREAFirst and second shift openings availablePay rate: $18 - $26 (Based on experience)Description:Leading manufacturer of water and wastewater treatment products. Company engineers, designs, manufacture, and install their systems and equipment.Welders: FCAW, GMAW, GMAW-P, TIG, GTAW, SAW, SMAW and Carbon Arc welding from blueprints Will be welding in mostly MIG and some Fluxcore.Fabricators: Responsible for fabricating and welding ASME code tanks and filtration equipment, pipe and various structural equipment from blue prints and production orders. Fabricating small assemblies, sometimes 3 to 4 parts, sometimes 20 to 30 parts. It changes in size and quantity of parts to be put together and weld. Must have operating knowledge of preheat-cutting torch, stud welder, and hand plasma torch. Must have experience selecting proper wire, shielding gases, and setting wire feed speeds and voltage to obtain a balanced arc condition.Skills:welder, weld, fabricator, fabricate, fabrication, welding, fabricating, fabricates, welds, mig, tig, stick, blueprint, fitting, hand tool, stainless steelAdditional Skills & Qualifications: 6+ months of fabricating experience or school experience Ability to fabricate and weld small parts on a work table. Ability to work with verbal instructions and use small tools Must possess knowledge of welding processes GMAW and FCAW at a minimum. Ability to pass weld test: mig / flux core welding This is a visual test. They want to see if the applicant knows what he/she is doing.
