job detailsOur client is seeking for a Temporary AP Specialist for a 6-week assignment to assist their accounting team during a peak period for an construction company. You will be responsible for managing the billing process, generating invoices, and ensuring accurate financial records using QuickBooks. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in billing and invoicing, with the ability to quickly adapt to their processes and systems.salary: $19 - $20 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities
Prepare, generate, and send invoices to clients using QuickBooks.
Review billing data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Track and reconcile accounts receivable to ensure payments are applied correctly.
Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and follow up on outstanding invoices.
Assist in resolving billing discrepancies and respond to client inquiries.
Maintain and update customer billing information in QuickBooks.
Collaborate with the accounting team to support financial operations and ensure accuracy.
Process credit memos, refunds, and adjustments as needed.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
