Follow up with patients and insurance companies regarding outstanding payments and use practice management system to track account revisions
Manage incoming and outgoing calls regarding medical collections
Supervise patient accounts and make revisions as necessary
Requirements
Solid understanding of medical claims
Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)
Expertise in Billing Collection
Healthcare practice management software experience preferred
Strong knowledge of explanation of benefits (EOBs)
Strong technical skills including proficiency with MS Office
Minimum of 2+ years of prior healthcare collections experience
High School diploma or equivalent required
Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing
