Container Connection Intermodal has an immediate opening in our office for an Intermodal Logistics Coordinator.
The Intermodal Logistics Coordinator is responsible for tracking/tracing container availability at the Port, dispatching, freight, and common daily performances within the Intermodal Transportation Industry. The right candidate for this position must have good communication skills, self motivated, quick thinking and the ability to maximize the use of the contractors hours of service.
JOB DUTIES:
Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook email and Web based applications.
Two Years minimum Intermodal experience with knowledge of the Port and of the Railyards.
Demonstrate the ability to be flexible (TEAMWORK) and possess problem solving skills.
Availability for On- Call Rotation during Nights, Weekends and Holidays.
Knowledge of DOT regulations and Contractors Hours of Service.
Respond to Customers and Contractors in a timely manner for issues and questions.
Will work closely with the Terminal and Regional Managers to insure all work orders are completed and handled.
Process all required Paperwork for the billing clerk to confirm loads and assure accurate driver pay.
