Established Restaurant in Downtown & Midtown Savannah is seeking an experienced, competent and personable person who can fill the role of FOH Shift Leader/Bartender while still maintaining quality service to their guests. The ideal candidate is a person who isn't afraid to be the boss while maintaining a friendly and positive work environment.

As Shift Leader and Bartender, you will still take tables yet you will ultimately be responsible for the general well-being of the restaurant during your shift. We are a popular midtown destination and this is a great opportunity for the right candidate to shine as a leader, while supplementing their manager salary with tips. Job includes health benefits, bonuses and paid time off after completion of probationary period.

The Shift Leader position reports to the General Manager and performs the following duties:

-Ensures all staff is on time and present for their shifts.

-Handles call outs for both FOH & BOH

-Directs staff to maintain a sparkling clean restaurant

-Problem Solving

-Handle disgruntled customers by offering suggestions and solutions

-Facilitate FOH and BOH issues and maintain positive relationship with BOH managers and staff

-Deal with POS problems, Credit Card Issues, Issues with register, etc

Customer Service

-Must excel at customer service

-Make sure customers leave the restaurant happy

The IDEAL candidate is self-motivated and doesn't need to have their hand held on a daily basis. MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1 YEAR OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE
