The Terminal Manager plays a vital role within our organization by managing all aspects of facility operations at Colonial's two chemical sites in Savannah.

JOB EXPECTATIONS/DUTIES

  • Supervises facility operations to ensure quality, accuracy, and safety.
  • Provides training and field proficiency testing to employees.
  • Creates individual development plans for site employees.
  • Conducts weekly safety meetings for employees.
  • Facilitates coordination among various departments within the organization.
  • Conducts audits with the goal of improving accuracy while meeting company, customer, and regulatory standards.
  • Conducts performance evaluations and administers corrective action plans as needed.
  • Schedules facility maintenance activities.
  • Monitors inventory for accuracy and quality as a critical output of effective order picking.
  • Investigates accidents and safety incidents and resolves accordingly.
  • Assists customers with product quality or process inquiries.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • HAZWHOPER 40-hour training, including Incident Command, is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of operations experience in chemicals or logistics is required.
  • Must have the ability to develop and foster employee career advancement opportunities.
  • A minimum of 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.
  • Project management skills are highly desired.
