Job Description:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable department, including managing workflows, supervising staff, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments.
Be the main point of contact for resolving complex A/P related issues, including disputed vendor invoices.
Work with external departments, vendors, and foreign partners to resolve issues and ensure timely processing of payments.
Manage vendor relationships, including discounts, finance charges, outstanding credit memos, and past due invoices.
Process and reconcile invoices and expenses in a timely and accurate manner.
Research and post any open invoices and payment adjustments from vendors.
Manage and maintain the accounts payable ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and accounted for.
Assist in preparing weekly check and ACH runs.
Verify and validate invoices and expenses to ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
Qualifications: -Must have 3-5+ years of full cycle AP experince -Proficient in Microsoft Excel -Must have full cycle experince including check runs, contacting vendors, resolving any issues/discrepancies, 3-way match -ERP software experience (Reynolds and Reynolds preferred) About Aston Carter: Aston Carter provides world-class corporate talent solutions to thousands of clients across the globe.
