- Assist and lead certain accounting events for the full month-end close process, ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.
- Review and analyze month-end transactions, reconciliations, subledgers and variances.
- Prepare financial reporting package for management and stakeholders.
- Manage accrued revenue, deferred costs of revenue, and accrued costs.
- Establish, document, and maintain internal control while maintaining all aspects of the general ledger.
- Research accounting issues for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Analyze and report cost variances to the Controller.
- Assist Controller with annual audit preparation, fieldwork and financial reporting.
- Assisting the Controller in assessing and improving processes, implementing controls and new systems where necessary.
- Experience in full-cycle Accounting.
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting.
- Experience with NetSuite ERP.
- Detail orientated.
- Self-motivated and efficient with high standards for quality of results and accuracy.
- Seeks out opportunities for efficiency improvements.
