Description Our reputable client is seeking a FP& A Manager to join the company. The FP& A Manager must have deep analytical capabilities, strong verbal and writing skills, and the ability to multitask and work under multiple tight deadlines at once. If you are an experienced FP& A Manager looking for a challenging role at an established company, this may be the role for you.Your responsibilities in this role· Manage key forward-looking financial processes, including strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting.· Preparation and presentation of monthly operational KPI’s in coordination with the Accounting and Operational Reporting and Analysis teams.· Present financial commentaries, presentations, and documents in concise and easy to digest formats to support key financial deliverables. · Oversee the financial governance processes to approve new capital commitments and provide pricing for success based projects.· Develop new processes or improve existing processes relating to financial planning and reporting.· Develop metrics to track team-specific and company-wide trends, identify opportunities, provide recommendations, and collaborate across all levels.· Acquisition and strategic initiative support, including valuation modeling, due diligence, integration, and contract review activities.· Support ad hoc projects and help define systems and process improvements to support the company’s growth. · Support for strategic data initiatives.· Financial benchmarking and scorecard construction.· Apply an analytical approach to influence strategic decision-making, with a focus on capital allocation decisions and portfolio management.· Manage the long-term financial planning process and support related activities with investors, lenders, and other third-parties (e.g. rating agencies).· Lead investor and lender relations function and provide financial analysis and commentary to important partners including the company’s board, management team, and related parties.· Build and develop an empowered and engaged FP& A team.Requirements - Advanced knowledge of computer software, including writing macros in Excel, Access, financial Modeling and other accounting packages
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required
The ideal candidate should be able to analyze complex business problems, propose effective solutions and understand and apply business vision and direction
Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant certifications are a plus
8+ years of experience in FP& A required
2+ years of FP& A supervisory/leadership experience
Must have high business acumen
Must be excellent at communicating and building relationships
Strong quantitative and qualitative abilities
