The Parts Room Clerk is responsible for ordering parts and materials for plant maintenance, organizing using a parts management system (CMMS) or paper documentation, and shipping parts for repair. Carries out responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures.   DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The duties and responsibilities of this position shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following: Request parts and supplies using a purchasing process. Maintain appropriate inventory levels. Maintain accurate files, logbooks, and other records Using a CMMS system. Respond quickly to part requests from maintenance team members. Interacting with vendors using phone, email, and in person Unloading delivery trucks; Issue parts from inventory to work orders; Issue purchase orders to vendors; Process warranty cores for return; Cycle counts of parts inventory; Review purchase orders and posting invoices; Restock Inventory; Using barcode scanners, labelers or similar devices for inventory organization
