Duct Installers / Sheet Metal Mechanics - Need hangers, Installers, and Mechanics (LOCAL - NO PER DIEM)
HBC Ductwork inside of buildings, mostly Duct mate, and Process Duct 8' Diameter. Also experience with Piping - fitting, rigging, and/or fabricating(Stainless, Carbon, Galvanized) a huge plus. Will also have some Grooving of Victaulic Piping.
10 Panel Drug Screen and Background Check (no violent crimes and no habitual offenders) Required
Skilled Mechanic
This is a position working with a seasoned welded, rigger, ductwork person or insulator. Will have the ability to read blueprints to assist the lead person.
Semi-Skilled Mechanic Job Summary
In this role you must be able to assist the lead welder, rigger or ductwork person with the installation. Having some welding ability is a plus. You must be able to assist with the layout of pipe or duct and provide the necessary skills to assist your team lead. Being able to read blueprints and other technical information is a plus. They must pass a background screening and drug test.
a. Can assist welder in fitting up pipe or ductwork.
b. Has some ability to weld or tack weld.
c. Mechanical ability to assemble pipe and or ductwork.
d. Can read mechanical drawings and bill of materials.
e. Can work on scaffolding, manlift or scissor lift.
f. Some experience with rigging material or equipment.
g. Understanding of safety rules.
Requirements
h. High school Diploma or GED Certificate.
i. 1 year of construction experience or completion of any formal construction course work at an accredited institution. We may consider other formal training.
j. Familiarity of industrial piping or ductwork, and tools for general mechanical construction.
k. Ability to read and interpret blueprints is a plus.
l. Ability to lift 75 lbs.
m. Willingness to follow all safety procedures.
n. PPE – Construction boots, safety glasses, hardhat. (We can provide hardhat and safety glasses)
Pay: $25 - $30 based on experience.
Working 6 x 10's - maybe not initially but need to be open to working 6-7 days a week.
