We have immediate needs for experienced construction laborers who want to work on one of the area's PREMIER Construction Projects! $5B Battery Plant being constructed in Bartow County!
This is a position working with/taking direction from an experienced welder, mechanic or foreman. The ability to read blueprints is a plus.
10 Panel Drug Test and Background Check (no violent felonies, no habitual offenders) required.
Construction Laborer Job Summary
In this role you will assist the lead welder, rigger or ductwork person and mechanics with the installation of equipment, piping, ductwork and insulation. Being able to take directions is a must. They must pass a background screening and drug test.
a. Can assist in the assembly of pipe or ductwork.
b. Able to lift 75 lbs.
c. Can read mechanical drawing or willing to learn.
d. Can work on scaffold, manlift or scissor lift.
e. Understanding of safety rules.
Requirements
o. High school Diploma or GED Certificate.
p. 1 year of construction or work experience. We may consider any other formal training.
q. Familiarity of industrial piping or ductwork, insulation and tools for general mechanical construction.
r. Ability to read and interpret blueprints is a plus.
s. Ability to lift 75 lbs.
t. Willingness to follow all safety procedures.
u. PPE – Construction boots, safety glasses, hardhat.
Pay: $20 - $24 based on experience
Schedule: Must be open to working 6 x 10's - may not be 6 days a week initially, but will ramp up.
