Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Automotive Technician / Mechanic at Mathis - Watson Automotive And Big John’s Muffler Shop in Rome, GA. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for vehicle maintenance, oil changes, automotive repair, maintenance & repair, and suspension tasks on a day-to-day basis.
Preferred Qualifications
Maintenance & Repair skills
Hands-on experience with automotive maintenance tasks
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work autonomously
Must provide your own basic tools
Pay will be dependent on skill level, competency, and tool availability as evaluated during initial interview.
The advancement path after initial interview is simple: For each month there are no mistakes, you will receive an additional $1/hr. Quality is the top priority for us. So, leaving fasteners undone, parts off of vehicles, electrical connections unplugged, neglecting to clean mating surfaces, or other similar mistakes will be recorded on a reset that timer for a month.
